Jeffrey Cooney Jr joins the staff as a former Old Dominion University (ODU) honors graduate with his Bachelor's of Science degree in Sports Management. He spent two years at ODU & prior to that, two years at Methodist University where he was a member of the football team. Jeff is a home-grown talent, being from Virginia Beach and having went to Landstown High-School. Leading up to this point, Jeff has had a lot of experience in sports both in the groundwork and management level. From his time at ODU working the day to day sporting events as well as co-founding a new one, his time at the Virginia Beach Sport Center where he was an intern in the beginning stages before the facility was the finished product we see today & lastly with his time at the Virginia Beach Field house where his work as an intern resulted in a full time League Coordinator position in charge of three separate sports in which he is credited to bringing each league to full capacity.
