Beach Volleyball Competes at Bobcat Tournament
SOUTH PRINCE GEORGE, VA – The Richard Bland College beach volleyball team moves to 4-2 overall, 3-0 in conference play after traveling to Tidewater Volleyball Academy for the Bobcat Tournament Friday and Saturday. Bryant & Stratton College (VA), Gaston College, Stevenson University, and Richard Bland all competed this weekend.
On Friday vs Bryant & Stratton, the Statesmen pairs defeated the Bobcats 5-0.
Pairing 1: Sarah Heath and Sophia Kaiser defeated the Bobcats 21-8 and 21-13.
Pairing 2: Karagyn Durco and Leilani Goggin defeated the Bobcats 21-10 and 21-15.
Pairing 3: Rylie Harris and Jadyn Brown defeated the Bobcats 21-13 and 22-20.
Pairing 4: Sydney Phillips and Morgan Green defeated the Bobcats 21-9 and 21-4.
Pairing 5: Georgia Alexander and Jordan May defeated the Bobcats 21-8 and 21-19.
On Saturday vs Gaston College, the Statesmen pairs defeated the Rhinos 5-0.

On Saturday vs Stevenson University, the Statesmen pairs fell 0-5 to the Mustangs.

Pairing 2: Karagyn Durco and Leilani Goggin fell to the Mustangs 20-22 and 13-21.
Pairing 3: Rylie Harris and Jadyn Brown fell to the Mustangs 18-21 and 18-21.
Pairing 4: Sydney Phillips and Morgan Green fell to the Mustangs 17-21 and 19-21.
Pairing 5: Georgia Alexander and Marisa Dunnavent fell to the Mustangs 17-21, 21-18, and 11-15.
