Louisburg, NC- Looking to bounce back from a tough defeat at Sandhills Sunday night, the Bobcats traveled to Louisburg Wednesday night to take on the Hurricanes.

The Bobcats got off to a quick 8-0 start. The Hurricanes answered back with their own 10-0 run to make the score 8-10 Hurricanes. The Bobcats again answered back and built a commanding 15 point lead halfway through the first half. The Bobcats were able to maintain a strong lead going into halftime up 13.

The Hurricanes jumped out to an early 7-0 run in the second half to cut the Bobcat lead to 6. Turnovers by the Bobcats allowed the Hurricanes to get back in the game and eventually take a 51-50 lead with 11 minutes remaining in the contest. The Bobcats would come right back and take the lead which they were able to hang on to until the Hurricanes tied it up at 65-65 with 3 minutes remaining. In the end the Hurricanes outlasted the Bobcats 76-71.

Shawn Sanders led the Bobcats in scoring with 16 points and also grabbed 15 rebounds. Jaylin Stewart contributed 11 points and also had 4 steals for the Bobcats. Te?Shaun Knightnor also had a great game rebounding the ball with 15 rebounds.
