The Bryant & Stratton Bobcats hosted their first matchup of the season against the #15 preseason ranked Lackawanna College Falcons on Saturday in a double-header.
Game 1:
The Falcons would open the scoring up in the top of the first inning with 3 runs in the top, to the Bobcats 1 in the bottom. The Falcons would get 1 more run in before the game would flip on its head in the bottom of the second when #3 Jack Starke would hit a home run to centerfield driving in 3 runs. The Bobcats scored six runs on three hits in the inning to take a 7-4 lead.

Game 2:

The Falcons would tie the game at the top of the second inning, and the Bobcats would take the lead for good in the bottom of the second scoring 5 runs on 3 hits to take a 6-1 lead and the Bobcats added one run in the third when #4 Melendez doubled, making the score 7-1.
The Bobcats tallied ten hits in the game #4 Diego Melendez drove in five runs on three hits to lead the team. #11 Juan Mejia's collected two 2 hits in 3 at bats and #3 Jack Starke led the Bobcats with three walks. Overall the team had a strong eye at the plate tallying 10 walks for the game. The Bobcats ran wild on the base paths piling up 5 stolen bases while not commiting a single error on the field, #46 Jake Dellavechia had the most chances in the field with 9.
#2 Santiago Montez earned the win for the Bobcats as the right handed pitcher allowed three hits and one run over five innings, striking out 4 and walking 4. #44 Deven Shepard threw 2 innings of scoreless ball in relief surrendering one hit, striking out 4 and walking none.
