Bobcats Start Out of the Break With a Conference Win Over Cleveland CC
The Bryant & Stratton Bobcats hosted a conference opponent, the Cleveland Community College Yetis on Sunday afternoon in a game where both teams were looking to end a losing streak.
The Bobcats started the game off on the wrong side of an 0-8 run by the Yetis, but would fight to get back into things late in the first half after being down by 11 at most at one point.
Thanks to a late run from a collective of steals, fast breaks, and 3s from #0 Josiah Dow & #1 Khalil Oden, the Bobcats were able to get back in the game as they managed to only trail by 3 going into the half.
The Second half was much different for the Bobcats as they would take an early lead which would carry them to the end and give them the Victory over the Yetis.
The Bobcats were led by #0 Josiah Dow with 16pts, 7reb & #23 De'Von Brown 11pts, 9reb, 3blks(game-high)
In their next matchup, the Bobcats will host their neighbor; the Virginia Peninsula Community College Gators, 11/29, Wednesday at 7pm
