Men's Basketball Bring their Conference Record to 2-0

Norfolk, VA – Bryant & Stratton College Men’s Basketball Team hosted their 2018-2019 season opener Saturday against Guilford Tech CC and Lenoir CC on Sunday, at Maury High School.

The Bobcats held off the Titans early in the first half (44-38). JaJa Davis led the Bobcats with 16 pts and 7 rebounds. Leland Richardson close behind with 16pts and 6 rebounds. The second half wasn’t any different, never taking the lead, the Titans fell (87-77) final. Grayson Tejeda (#14) and Jeremiah Phifer (#11) led the Titans with 47 pts and 7 rebounds, collectively.

Taking the momentum into Sunday afternoon, BSC brought their season record to (3-2) overall and (2-0) in the conference, with a win over the Lancers. Sophomores led the way, Tahjay Jacobs led the offense with 26 pts, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals. Matthias Caver added 17 pts, 8 rebounds and 3 assists.

The Bobcats host Patrick Henry CC on Saturday, November 24^th @ 3pm.
