BSC Track & Field Team Finish Strong at NSU
Norfolk, VA – Bryant & Stratton College Men’s and Women’s Track & Field traveled Friday and Saturday for a two-day event at the 1st Annual Kenneth Giles Norfolk State Invite on the campus of Norfolk State University. BSC was amongst schools Coppin State University, Keiser, Virginia Wesleyan and Barton.
BSC’s Sophomores, Bahiyyah Barnes, finished 8th in the 200m finals (25.61) and Tracy Idugboe placed 10th in the 200m (26.07).
On the Men’s side, Freshmen Caleb McGire and Amir Epps placed 5th and 6th in the 400m finals, 50.07 and 50.21 respectively. Sophomores, Dae’Shawn Griffin and Jason Ferrell, Colorado native, placed 4th and 5th in the 800m finals, 2:07.12 and 2:07.72.
The Bobcats B and A team, took 1st and 2nd in the 4x400 relay. B team finished 3:21.17: Tru Crenshaw, Jacob Nixon, Amir Epps and Caleb McGire. A team coming in at 3:26.37: DeAnte Bridges, Jason Ferrell, Dae’Shawn Griffin and Allen Cherry.
