Bio

Genevieve Weaver took over as the head softball coach of the Bryant & Stratton College Softball program in the 2018-2019 season. A graduate of Granby High School in Norfolk, Virginia in the International Baccalaureate program, Weaver was a three-sport athlete throughout her high school athletic career. She was selected to the All-Eastern District First team each of the four years she lettered, and later was an All-Tidewater selection for both field hockey and softball. She was named Eastern District Player of the Year her senior year along with receiving the U.S. Army Reserve National Scholar Athlete Award.

Weaver played collegiate softball at Chowan College but enrolled at Virginia Tech to earn a degree in Communications. She received her Master’s degree from Old Dominion University while continuing to coach at her alma mater. She has been the head softball coach at Granby High School for the past several seasons. She was invited to coach for several local teams at all levels and looks forward to joining the BSC athletic family.
