COACH NOTES: LADY BOBCATS 64 VS COLLEGE OF SOUTH MARYLAND 38
In a much anticipated season-opener the Bobcats would jump off to a good start beating The College of Southern Maryland 64-38. The Bobcats begin a 7-0 run sparked by freshman guard Johne' Blunt's defensive pressure; who finished with 11 points and 5 steals. Sophmore forward Danielle Brown would join the defensive efforts with 2 steals and 3 defensive rebounds early in the game that would continue to spark the Bobcats energy and defensive efforts. Once the Bobcats took the lead there was no looking back. This was a collective team win with everyone contributing on the defensive end and 9 of 12 players scoring. Freshman guard Kiana Crevison-Artis would lead the team in scoring with 14 points followed by Sophmore guard Kayla Clifton who finished with 13.
