Norfolk, VA – Bryant & Stratton College Women's Basketball team kicked off the 2021 season this weekend, hosting Patrick Henry CC and Catawba Valley CC.
Takeira Grant, led the Bobcats in the first game against the Patriots, leading the team with 14 pts, 5 rebs and 4 asts. Me’Ara Carter, Temple University commit, led in rebs with 8 and 12 pts on the day. Marlee Syer contributed with 13 pts and 5 rebs for the win 72-50.
In the second match up, the Bobcats fell to Catawba Valley, who rallied to the end to take the win 65-60. Camari Jeter and Kellis Carmon led the Red Hawks in pts with 16 each.
Next up: The Bobcats return to action on Firday, Jan. 29th, as they travel to Bryn Mawr, PA to take on the Bears of Harcum College.
