Track & Field Kick-off Their Season at CNU's Holiday Open
Newport News, VA – Bryant & Stratton Men’s and Women’s Track & Field team kicked off their season this weekend at The Holiday Open hosted by Christopher Newport University, at Freeman Center on campus. Christopher Newport University, Hampton University, Old Dominion University, Virginia Wesleyan and Regent University were various school in attendance.
Sunday afternoon, Men's weighted throw was the first field event of the morning, followed by Women's 5,000m running event at 9am. Freshman, Tamia Arnold set the tone for the season by becoming the first “Athlete of the Week” for BSC, by running the fastest 60-meter hurdle by a JUCO athlete this year; clocking 8.65.

The Bobcats head north to Staten Island, NY to compete in the 2019 Seahawks Shootout this weekend Friday, December 13th. The event will be held at the Wagner Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex.
