Lady Bobcats 0-4 in Conference After Loss to Davidson Storm
Newport News, VA - Bryant & Stratton College Volleyball team dropped their second match of the weekend on the road as they fall to 0-4 in conference competition and 2-8 overall. The Storm bested the Bobcats 24-26, 25-17, 19-25, 20-25 behind the hot hand of Middle Blocker Kassidy Trotter.
The Bobcats, who remain dominant in the center of the court and at the net, were bested by sophomores MB Kassidy Trotter and OH Macy Stoval who posted 17 and 12 kills respectively. The Lady Bobcats fell victim to scoreboard watching as the lead was set early in each game and held on to by the victors. BSC managed to keep everything close, clawing to a 24-26 loss before winning a decisive second set 25-17 behind Noemi Marquez team high 14 kills and .300 hitting percentage and McKenzie Kilgallon's 6 aces. Davidson jumped out to an early lead in both the third and fourth sets, acing the Lady Bobcats a total of 10 times.
