Raptors Stunned By Bobcats

On Monday, January 13th, the 15th ranked Montgomery College Raptors traveled to Virginia Beach to take on the Bryant & Stratton Bobcats in an out of conference matchup. The Raptors lost 84-76, marking their third loss of the season and first against a non-ranked opponent.
This was a sloppy game from the Raptors. Passes were slightly off target, easy layups were rimming out, and uncharacteristic mistakes were made. Even with this, the Raptors were only down 39-42 at halftime. Confidence remained high throughout most of the second half as the crowd waited for a signature Raptor run that never came. In crunch time, the Raptors kept taking quick shots, which were answered by clutch offensive rebounds and putbacks on the other end. A missed jumper followed by a Bobcat basket was the dagger, and the Raptors headed back home with a loss. This loss puts the Raptors at 13-3 on the season.
