The Bryant & Stratton Bobcats stayed in it until the end, but the Brunswick Community College Dolphins pulled away late in a 4-1 loss on Saturday.
The Bobcats were down early but evened things up at one in the top of the fifth inning. #43 Ryland Brown singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run. #3 Kevin Caceres toed the rubber for the Bobcats. #3 Caceres surrendered three runs on six hits over six innings, striking out three and walking zero. #39 Jean Carl Perez threw two innings out of the bullpen. The Dolphins pulled away for good with two runs in the sixth inning.
#13 Devin Hicks, #11 Dante De Jesus, #43 Brown, and #4 Juan Mejias each collected one hit to lead the Bobcats.

The Bobcats fell behind early and couldn't come back in an 11-3 loss to the Dolphins on Saturday.
The Dolphins took the lead on a single in the second inning and never lost it. The Bobcats struggled to contain the high-powered offense of the Dolphins, giving up 11 runs. In the first inning, the Bobcats got their offense started when the Dolphins had a wild pitch allow one run to score. #12 Darian Fumero was on the pitcher's mound for the Bobcats & surrendered three runs on five hits over one and two-thirds innings, walking zero. #39 Jody Luis otero and #8 Ryan Cason entered the game as relief, throwing three innings and one and one-third innings respectively. The Bobcats tallied one home run on the day, #21 Raphael Beltre had the homer in the seventh inning.
The Bobcats had four hits in the game. #23 Carlos Negron and #21 Beltre each managed multiple hits to lead the Bobcats. The Bobcats was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error, #21 Beltre had the most chances in the field with six.

#9 Sebastian Pagan was on the hill for the Bobcats lasting five innings, allowing four hits and one run while striking out two and walking one. #46 Camren Patterson, #25 Kade Burkovich, #35 Deven Shepard, and #44 Edward Frye each entered the game as relief, throwing two innings, one-third of an inning, one-third of an inning, and one-third of an inning respectively. The Bobcats held the lead until the bottom of the sixth inning when the Dolphins singled on their first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs. The Bobcats struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing the Dolphins, giving up 11 runs.
