The Bryant & Stratton Bobcats fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 10-2 loss to the Lenoir Community College Lancers on Saturday.
#9 Sebastian Pagan took the loss surrendering seven runs on eight hits over five innings, striking out three.
The Bobcats struggled to contain the high-powered offense of the Lancers, giving up ten runs.
The Lancers scored three runs in the seventh inning to put things away.
The Bobcats totaled six hits #6 Dominick Proctor and #21 Raphael Beltre each collected two hits to lead the team. #21 Beltre ledthe team with three stolen bases, as the team ran wild on the base paths with ten stolen bases.
Game 2 3/18/23
Despite seeing their six-run lead whittled down by the end, the Bryant & Stratton Bobcats managed to hold off the Lenoir Community College Lancers for a 7-6 victory on Saturday.
#3 Kevin Caceres led the the Bobcats to victory on the mound, the ace went five innings, allowing four runs on seven hits, striking out four and walking one, #25 Kade Burkovich and #15 Davis Snyder entered the game out of the bullpen to help close out the game in relief.
The Bobcats got things started in the first inning when #6 Dominick Proctor singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.
The Bobcats launched one home run on the day when #54 Dinzey Felix had a long ball in the third inning.
Both offenses were strong at the plate as each collected ten hits in the high-scoring affair, #6 Proctor and #4 Juan Mejias both managed multiple hits for the team, #6 Proctor went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead the team in hits.

The Bryant & Stratton Bobcats snatched the lead late in a 4-3 victory over the Lenoir Community College Lancers on Sunday.
#48 Ashe Ammerlaan started the game for the Bobcats allowing one hit and two runs over five innings, striking out 11.
#12 Darian Fumero was credited with the victory surrendering just one run on four hits over four innings, striking out six, #12 Fumero recorded the last 12 outs to earn the save.
The Bobcats got things started in the first inning when #13 Devin Hicks doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.
In the bottom of the sixth inning, the Lancers tied things up at three from a single that brought in one run.
The game was tied at three with the Bobcast batting in the top of the eighth when #13 Hicks scored on wild pitch which would lead to the victory.
The Bobcats racked up nine hits, #43 Ryland Brown, #23 Carlos Negron, and #13 Hicks each collected two hits to lead the team.
