In the picture to the right, both the Baseball team and Softball team were at Pitt CC and showed support to eachother by attending the games when they had the opportunity.
Game 2
The Bryant & Stratton Bobcats took the lead late and defeated the Pitt Community College Bulldogs 16-8 on Saturday.
#3 Kevin Caceres started the game surrendering seven runs on seven hits over six innings, striking out five and walking on. #12 Darian Fumero earned the victory on the mound surrendering zero runs on two hits over two innings, striking out four.
The game was tied at eight with the Bobcats batting in the top of the eighth when #13 Devin Hicks homered on a 2-1 count, scoring three runs.
The Bobcats were boosted by #13 Hicks who went 4-for-4 at the plate via a single in the first, homer in the fifth, homer in the eighth, and a single in the eighth.
After the Bobcats scored one run in the top of the fifth, the Bulldogs answered with one of their own.
The Bobcats would then score eight runs in the eighth inning to putt things out of reach and secure the win.
The Bobcats smacked four home runs on the day, #13 Hicks had a dinger in the fifth and eighth innings, #54 Dinzey Felix had a homer in the seventh inning, & #43 Ryland Brown went for the long ball in the eighth inning.
The Bobcats totaled 17 hits in the game, #13 Hicks, #22 Witt Scafidi, #6 Dominick Proctor, #54 Felix, and #21 Raphael Beltre all managed multiple hits for the team. #13 Hicks went 4-for-4 at the plate to lead the way in hits and the team didn't commit a single error in the field, #22 Scafidi had the most chances in the field with nine.
