Bobcats Fall In Tough Conference Matchup Against #5 Davidson-Davie
The Bryant & Stratton Bobcats hosted conference #5 Davidson-Davie Storm this past weekend leading into Thanksgiving break.
Coming off a loss, the Bobcats were faced with their toughest task yet in the reining conference champs; the Storm.
The Bobcats started this game from behind but did get things going late in the first half by drawing fouls and stopping the clock with free points from the stripe. However, the Bobcats would still l find themselves down 10pts at half (34-44).
The second half was much tighter as the Bobcats spent the rest of the game working their way back into it, with the score getting as close as a 7 until the Bobcats ran out of juice and a late run by the Storm would put the game away (61-80).
Ultimately, the Bobcats struggled from 3pt range, just (2-10): 20% on the day & from the line (17-27): 63%.
The Bobcats were led by #21 Josiah Dow with 11pts, 8reb & #10 Airon Jones with 11pts as well.
Following Thanksgiving break, the Bobcats (2-3) will host the Cleveland Community College Yetis (2-4) as both teams look to end a 2 game losing streak.
