The Bryant & Stratton Bobcats (5-3) would be on the road for two conference games this weekend at the Central Carolina Community College Cougars (4-5) on Friday & at the Fayetteville Tech Community College Trojans (10-2) on Sunday.
The Bobcats were riding a 3 game win streak coming into this one and looked to add on a 4th but it wouldn't be easy as they would face a 16pt deficit going into halftime.
The second half was a different story as the Bobcats would outscore the Cougars by 9 on their way to a come back, but would fall short leaving them on the opposite side of the Victory (77-84).
The Bobcats were led by #10 Airon Jones with 20pts, 5reb and #14 Kyjuan Oden with 18pts, 5reb
To follow up the Bobcats loss on Friday, the Bobcats would take on the #1 team in the conference in the Trojans, riding a 3 game win streak.
In arguably what was the Bobcats best game of the season, they would take a 2pt lead at half and control that lead much of the second half extending their lead to as many as 15pts. Like all good team the Trojans wouldnt give up and would mount a run towards the end of the game but the Bobcats would survive and walk out with the Win (80-77)
The Bobcats were led by #0 Josiah Dow with 19pts, 11reb (2nd double-double of the season) and #1 Khalil Oden with 19pts
Up next, the Bobcats (6-4) will host the Richard Bland Statesmen (6-7) 12/13, Wednesday at 7pm.
