Indoor Track & Field Wrap Up Regular Season at CNU Invitational

Newport News, VA – Men’s and Women’s Track & Field traveled across the water to Newport News, VA on Saturday and Sunday for a two-day event at the Captains Invitational at the Freeman Center on the campus of Christopher Newport University. BSC was amongst schools William & Mary, Piedmont, Fayetteville College and hosts CNU.

BSC Women’s, Tenae Minor finished first in the 200m finals (25.66) and Tracy Idugboe placed first in the Triple Jump at a distance of 11.81.

On the Men’s side, Ezekiel Jones finished on top at a time of (22.18) in the 200m finals. The Men’s 4x400 relay team included Jones, Ameer, Brown and Chapman finished first (3.27.25). Khalil Harris placed first in the Long Jump (6.95m), while Brandon Polite behind him in second place at (6.61m)

Next up, the Bobcats travel to the Region X Indoor Championships on the campus of Liberty University on Friday, March 6^th.
