The BSC Lady Bobcats would take on conference opponent Louisburg College for this year's Homecoming celebration and it would be a good one.
The Lady Bobs jumped out early to a 14-4 lead with about 4 minutes left in the first quarter, and then Louisburg went on a 11-3 run to end the quarter. The lead would change back and forth and both teams fought until the end of regulation 77-77.
Defensively, the Bobcats just weren't themselves but would make key stops in overtime to seal the deal and beat conference opponent Louisburg 91-84.
Freshmen Kayla Clifton gave the Bobcats a spark with back to back charges and some key offensive rebounds, she finished with 16 points. Gabrielle Swinson lead all scorers with 23 points and added 8 rebounds and 7 assist. Breona Cowan recorded another double double with 18 points 10 rebounds and Khala Downing finished with 15 points.
