Norfolk, VA - On Wednesday, the Lady Bobcats (4-0) played Wake Tech Community College (6-0) for their next conference game. This was a very challenging game for the Bobcats. The Bobcats came out playing less aggressive than Wake Tech and went down 17-9 in the first quarter. The Lady Bobcats finished the first half down 28-22. At the end of the third quarter, the Bobcats were down 45-36 going into the fourth quarter. The Bobcats cut the lead to three in the fourth, but Wake Tech answered back to win the game 61-53, which handed the Lady Bobcats their first loss of the season.
Mariah Igus led the Bobcats in scoring with 15-points. Shikira Perry added 13-points and Chasity Seldon had 11-points. The Bobcats travel this weekend for two conference games, Saturday against Southwest Virginia Community College and Patrick Henry Community College on Sunday.
