Bobcats Drop 1, Win 1 on the Road
Raleigh, NC - After a long night in a 5 set win over Louisburg the Bobcats woke up in Raleigh to face Wake Tech and Mid-Atlantic Christian in back to back matches.
In the first match of the day, the Bobcats found an early 8 point lead behind a couple of blocks and steady serving. The Eagles clawed back, but gave up set point on a block by Destiny Holley. Wake Tech turned it on in set 2, completely erasing hopes of a 3 set sweep. The Eagles posted a 10-25 win and never looked back, winning 18-25 in both the 3rd and 4th sets. Destiny Holley still posted 10 kills. Kilgallon and Moore added 3 aces each.

In the second match of the day, the Lady Bobcats came out a little slow but were able to turn it around. Sophomore setter McKinley Waid spread the love around with 38 assists, most of which went to Destiny Holley’s team high 17 kills. Noemi Marquez added 8 and a pair of aces. Freshman Angelica Anishchenkov added her own pairs of aces and digs.
