Volleyball End of the Season Banquet at the Oceanfront
Virginia Beach, VA – Bryant & Stratton College Women’s Volleyball team recognized their sophomores and hosted “Dig Pink” for Breast Cancer Awareness Saturday, October 27th vs. Cape Fear. The gym decorated in pink streamers and balloons set off the festivities for the last home match of the season. BSC fell in 5 grueling sets, exchanging the lead several times, 3-2 (13-25, 25-23, 25-27, 28-26, 6-15) versus Cape Fear CC.
Calypso on Atlantic Ave, hosted the end of the year banquet for the Lady Bobcats this past Tuesday. Part of the night was all about the sophomores as Kaya Cortado, Morgan Sims, Merissa Evans and Natricia House were honored with flowers and framed pictures from teammates and coaches. Parents and family members attended for the final farewell. Academic Honors were presented to Kaya Cortado for the higest cumulative GPA (3.8). Additional Academic recognition was also given to Morgan Sims, Merissa Evan, Brianna Raisor, Maddison Lindstom, and Merissa Evans and De'Lesha Gaines. The entire team average GPA was a (3.7). The team showed their appreciation to the coaching staff with flowers and cards.
Win or lose, this group of young ladies and student athletes accomplished many great things on the court and in the classroom. On behalf of all staff, faculty and coaches, we wish much success in all future endeavors.
