The Bryant & Stratton Bobcats were on the road this past weekend as they took on the Central Carolina Community College Cougars and the Fayetteville Tech Community College Trojans.
In game one vs. the Cougars, the Bobcats would jump out to a large lead off tremendous shooting defense as they took a 23-point lead into halftime. The Bobcats had the offense firing on all cylinders as they shot just under 50% from the field and the three-point line while holding the Cougars to under 40% from the field and 31% from the three-point line as the Bobcats would cruise to a 20-point victory.
The Bobcats were led by Jalen Milt with 22 points (career high) & 14 rebounds (4th double-double of the season) and Johntez Raspberry with 17 points & 6 rebounds (4th double-double of the season).
In game two vs. the Trojans, it would be a much closer matchup, and turnovers would play a huge factor in this one. The two teams would trade baskets back and forth as they would be tied at 34-34 at halftime. The Bobcats would extend their longest lead of the game in the second half as they would force multiple turnovers as they built their lead, and they would build on their defensive effort, carrying them to an eight-point win, 73-65.
The Bobcats were led by Kimoni Small with 16 points, 8 rebounds and Travis Hamilton with 14 points, 6 steals (career-high), 5 assists, & 4 rebounds.
