After a stellar career and outstanding classroom performance (Valedictorian: Class of 2019), Kaya Cortado "17-19" who still remains atop many of the different statistics in the leader boards for the Bobcats volleyball team has officially been inducted into the BSC Athletics Hall of Fame.

Kaya, studied in Health Service Administration at BSC before transferring to Old Dominion University where she earned her B.S. in Excercise Science. Upon graduation she worked for Sentara Therapy Center (Physical Therapy) before stepping into her current role with Sentare Healthcare in Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab (Lifestyle Program). She now becomes the first inductee into the Athletics Hall of Fame across all sports at BSC.
