The Bryant & Stratton Bobcats Started There 2024 Home Season off 2-0 Strong!
The Bobcats were coming into the day following six consecutive losses, all of which were on the road & it seemed to pay dividends that they finally had their first home matches of the season at this time. The Bobcats welcomed in the Louisburg Hurricanes & the Wake Tech Eagles to their home court on Saturday morning for two conference games.
This was the first matchup of the season between the Bobcats and Hurricanes in what was a needed victory for the Bobcats. Each set was close as the Bobcats would win sets 1,3, & 4 to bring the meeting to a close by way of score: 25-23, 21-25, 25-21, 25-18 (3-1). This win ended there losing streak and also brought them their first home win of the season.
In game two of the day, the Bobcats faced the Eagles having faced them once earlier in the season in a non-conference matchup and falling 2-3. This game would have a much different ending as the Bobcats would solidly handle the Eagles on their home court by way of score: 25-22, 25-21, 25-17 (3-0) & the win would give the Bobcats a 2-0 record at home and a much needed 2-2 record in conference as all of their remaining games are conference and will have huge implications moving forward.
