The Bobcats traveled on the road to take on the Cleveland CC Yetis & the Southwest VA Flying Eagles in a double header over the weekend before returning home to host the #1 seeded Richard Bland Statesmen last night.
Unfortunately for the Bobcats they entered the home contest coming off consecutive losses to the Yetis and the Flying Eagles which is definitely not an ideal state when next hosting the best team they would play all year. The Bobcats played hard and held a few leads throughout the matches but the depth and positiong by the Statesmen proved to show why they are the current best team as the Bobcats would fall 0-3.
Now the Bobcats have four remaining games and must win out to finish the regular season at .500 as well as keep their playoff hopes alive.
Their next matches willl be this Saturday on the road hosted at Richard Bland College against the Davidson-Davie CC Storm & the Guilford Tech Titans.
